Marco Bros / Service area / Takoma Park

Takoma Park, porch to back fence.

Bungalows, Victorians, and small deep lots under old trees. Careful irrigation, quiet lighting, and remodeling that fits the house.

Walkway and entry path lit at night

Takoma Park is old houses on narrow lots with more garden than lawn. That is a drip job as much as a sprinkler job: beds, borders, and a small patch of grass out front. We build systems that water the plants and skip the sidewalk, and we tune them at every seasonal visit so a wet spring does not become a soggy summer.

Porches and paths

The porch is the face of a Takoma Park house. A soft wash on it, step lights so nobody trips carrying groceries, and a few path lights down to the street. Low voltage, so the neighbour ten feet away is not living in your glare.

Remodeling in an old house

Bathrooms that have never been updated, kitchens that were an afterthought, basements with potential. We work inside the character of the house and inside the permit process when the job calls for it. Maryland license MHIC 105607.

Questions from Takoma Park

Do you work on small lots?

Yes. Takoma Park lots are some of the smallest we do, and drip irrigation is usually the right answer.

Can you light the porch without lighting up the street?

That is the point of low voltage. We aim it on site so it lands on your house.

How do I reach you?

The form on this site. Leave a number and Dave or John will call.
